Robo War was one of the first FMRW series on youtube by LastDayDawning of Scotland alongside LegoBots.
It ran for 4 series starting in July 2007 before being cancelled abruptly in February 2008.
Unfortunately all the footage from the show is lost forever.
An Extreme-esque series was also made between Series 2 and 3, titled Robo War: Destroyed!, tournaments in this series included the All Stars Championship, won by Flyer 5.5, and the New Blood tournament, won by Gravity.
ROBOTS
Triber - Exactly the same as Chaos 2 of Robot Wars, however renamed for Robo War (perhaps to avoid copyright infringement /s). It was one of the most successful robots in the history of the show, winning the 1st series and finishing 3rd in the series after, as well as reaching the semi-finals in Series 3, before shockingly going out in Round 2 of the abandoned Series 4.
Stinger 44 - Based on the real Stinger but with an added ability to flip other robots. It was very successful reaching the final in the first two series, including a win in Series 2 over Flyer V in the final.
Innocent - A robot made out of a smoothie carton of the same name. Won the only world championship representing Scotland, shockingly lost to new robot Hippobotamus in the series 3 final.
Gravity - Based on the Dutch robot of the same name, won the New Blood in RW: Destroyed and went on to finish 3rd in its debut. However in the in-completed series 4, it was completely destroyed and retired after that.
The Goblin - A box of Top Trumps cards.
Wedgie - A wedge-shaped robot with a powerful saw. Despite making the final four in Series 1, it failed to go beyond the heats in future appearances.
Kitty Kat - Exactly the same as RW's Pussycat however with a better blade. It was the Series 1 runner-up to Triber, however was scrapped and replaced by clusterbot Tom & Sylvester in Destroyed!
Cheese Louise - A pun on Jeez Louise, considered the worst robot in the show's short history. In its only appearance in Series 1 Heat D, it lost in the first round, perhaps unsurprisingly.
Hippo-bot-a-mus - A doorstop with a hippo on it. It surprisingly defeated Innocent in the final to win Series 3 on its debut tourney, before being retired and replaced by Tha Disasta, which failed to advance beyond its heat final in the abandoned Series 4.
Holchem - a calculator, which first appeared in a super-heavyweight special event in Series 1, in which it lost to Giganto. It then appeared in the main series afterwards starting from Series 2.
Edward, a computer mouse with a flipper at the front. Declared the winner of the final series in the show's series finale.
Razer 4/5/2 Oddly named spinoff of the Double World Champion. Was replaced by Beast in Series 4.
