Grinder, The Competitor from Series 5

Grinder was a robot that participated in ADW Series 5, It was armed with a wooden pole and a toy cog added to act as a circular saw, it was made out of a cake box which was upside down and decorated with hazardous stickers. It managed to beat SCART in it's first round battle by pushing it around the arena, due to the size advantage Grinder couldn't use it's weapon and decided to use it's built scoop made by a piece of the cake box.
It's Round 2 battle against Tornado who were the 9th's seed didn't turn out well, Tornado had the more pushing power and because of this it's saw broke off therefore it couldn't function. However Grinder battled on with it's scoop but he was getting damaged by self impact.
Grinder was loosing the fight and Tornado finally ended his failure by sending it to the pit. Beyond then Grinder was never seen again, he did participate in the non viewing qualifying round for Series 6 with the same name and design and the saw well fixed It however failed to win by getting beat to a Heat Semi Finalist Titanium after Grinder was badly punctured from the axe blows.
Grinder was therefore retried for FMRW Combat
