Masteraths Robot Wars - The Video Version Series 3 was the thired series of Masteraths Robot Wars - The Video Version and the twelfth FMRW Series that Masterath did. This series saw a new Heat structure, with 8 robots being in each heat and a straight knockout system until 1 robot remains in that heat. The losers melee was also changed this series to include all the defeated robots from their own heat with an opportunity to take on the winner of their heat in the Series Quarter-Final.

Rules and regulations

• Arena - Robot Wars mini arena with no extras. There is no side wall at the bottom.
• House Robots - Sir Killalot, Shunt, Dead Metal, Matilda
• Tournament Structure - 4 heats and 8 robots in 4 2 bot battles. 4 robots go through to the heat Semi-Final where 2 go through to the Heat Final. All the losers from the Heats face each other in 4 losers melees winners take on the winner of their heat. The series Quarter-Finals will be 4 2 bot battles followed by the Semi-Final and then the Final.
• Time Limit - 3 minutes
• If there is more than robot still mobile after 3 minutes - There will be a judges decision.
